A stone’s throw from Lorien, Elkhorn was built to emphasize the riverfront appeal to bring people together while still granting guests their own private portions of the house. Built in the footprint of a house that wildfires had burned down, the main aim was keeping the new structure to the former house’s footprint while incorporating new features like an open floor plan, precise solar patterns, and ample bedrooms for family, friends, and children to run amuck.
